Assembly characteristics and technical requirements of metal stamping die

by:Fortuna     2021-03-06
The metal stamping die is a single piece production. Some parts that make up the mold entity are independently processed in accordance with the dimensions and tolerances marked on the drawing during the manufacturing process (such as blanking dies, punching punches, guide posts and guide sleeves, mold handles, etc.). Such parts are generally Directly into the assembly; some parts in the manufacturing process only part of the size can be processed according to the size of the drawing, and the relevant dimensions need to be coordinated; some need to be prepared or combined before entering the assembly, and some need to be coordinated during the assembly process , This part of the size marked on the drawing is only for reference (such as the guide sleeve or guide post fixing hole of the mold base, the punch fixing hole on the multi-punch fixing plate, the plate bolt hole and the pin that need to be connected and fixed together Hole etc.). Therefore, the assembly of metal stamping molds is suitable for centralized assembly. In the assembly process, repairing and adjusting assembly methods are often used to ensure assembly accuracy. In this way, components with low precision can be used, higher assembly precision can be achieved, and the processing requirements of parts can be reduced. The technical requirements for the assembly of metal stamping parts die are as follows. 1. The accuracy of the mold base should meet the requirements of the standard (JB/T 80501999 'Technical Conditions of Die Die BaseThe closing height of the mold should meet the requirements of the drawings. 2. Assembled die, the upper die should slide up and down along the guide column smoothly and reliably. 3. The gap between the convex and concave molds should meet the requirements specified in the drawings and be evenly distributed. The working stroke of the punch or die meets the technical requirements. 4. The relative position of the positioning and retaining device should meet the requirements of the drawings. The distance between the die guide plates should be consistent with the drawings; the guide surface should be parallel to the center line of the die feeding direction; the side pressure plate of the guide plate with a side pressure device should slide flexibly and work reliably. 5. The relative position of the unloading and ejector device should meet the design requirements, and the working surface is not allowed to have inclination or unilateral swing to ensure that the parts or waste can be unloaded in time and ejected smoothly. 6. Fastener assembly should be reliable. The screw thread length of the bolt should not be less than the diameter of the bolt when connecting steel parts, and not less than 1.5 times the bolt diameter when connecting castings; the mating length of the pin and each part should be greater than 1.5 times Pin diameter; the end face of the pin should not expose the surface of the upper and lower mold bases. 7. The blanking hole or the discharging trough should be unobstructed to ensure that the parts or waste can be discharged freely. 8. Standard parts should be interchangeable. The fit of the fastening screws and positioning pins with their holes should be normal and good. 9. The installation dimensions of the metal stamping die on the press must meet the requirements of the selected equipment; the lifting parts should be safe and reliable. 10. Metal stamping parts The mold should be tested under production conditions, and the punched parts should meet the design requirements.
