Stainless steel is a very commonly used material in metal stamping processing. To ensure that qualified stainless steel stamping parts are processed, it is necessary to have a comprehensive understanding of the stamping properties of stainless steel materials. The main stamping properties of stainless steel materials are as follows: 1) Stainless steel The stamping deformation resistance is large, and the elastic rebound is large. In the production, refurbishment, correction procedures and necessary heat treatment are often added. 2) Most stainless steel materials have high strength and toughness and are easy to stick to the mold when stamping. Therefore, care should be taken to maintain the surface finish of the working parts of the male and female molds and the sharpness of the cutting edge during punching. When punching, the gap should be small. When bending and deep drawing, the gap between the convex and concave die and the corner radius of the die should be appropriately large, and the lubricating oil with higher viscosity can be used for lubrication when stamping. 3) The cold work hardening of stainless steel workpiece is serious, and it is easy to produce wrinkles during deep drawing. Therefore, after each deep drawing, intermediate annealing is generally required. After the drawing is completed, stress relief annealing should be carried out immediately to prevent the workpiece from cracking. Heating deep drawing can also be used for stainless steel workpieces to reduce the number of deep drawing passes. 4) In the soft state, stainless steel has better stamping performance. The softening heat treatment of stainless steel is: annealing for 1Cr13, 2Cr13, 3Cr13, 4Cr13 materials, and quenching for 1Cr18Ni9 and 1Cr18Ni9Ti materials.
