Stamping parts are used in a wide range of industries, including automotive, medical, electronics, household appliances and other industries. The selection of materials for stamping parts is very important. Stamping factories need to have strict requirements on the thickness of the material, because once the thickness of the material changes greatly, the use of the same mold and gap for production will affect the quality and accuracy of the product, and the mold will be damaged in severe cases. Even in the production of large stamping parts, production accidents still occur. 1) In the punching process, the positive deviation of the thickness of the stamping material is too large, or the negative deviation is too large, which may cause burrs. Materials with too much negative deviation will increase springback and affect dimensional accuracy. Materials with too large positive deviation will increase the punching force and punching work, which may damage the punching equipment. Uneven material thickness will also produce unilateral burrs on the stamped parts.

2) In the bending process, materials with large negative deviations have large springbacks, resulting in inaccurate shapes and sizes of stamping parts, and easily cause deflection and distortion. If the positive deviation of the material thickness is too large, it will cause curved surface extrusion, affect the surface quality of the stamping parts, and increase the bending force and bending work, which may damage the equipment. The uneven thickness will also lead to inaccurate shapes and dimensions of the stamped parts.

3) In the deep drawing process, if the negative deviation of the material thickness is too large, the shape will be uneven due to springback, and the height of the stamping part will be insufficient, and the opening and bottom of the stamping part will be small. At the same time, The pressure will decrease. In addition, the relative increase in the gap between the male mold and the female mold causes the material to wrinkle during the stretching process, which increases the difficulty of the flow of the metal material, thereby increasing the stretching force, and causing the stamping to break during stretching.
