With the continuous development of society and science and technology, the use of continuous stamping dies in stamping factories has become more popular. I think everyone has an understanding of the benefits of using continuous stamping dies. It can be easier to automate mass production and improve production efficiency. reduce costs. So what are the precautions when designing a continuous stamping die? 1. Punching waste should not be ejected. When designing a continuous mold, the discharge of waste is as important as the feeding of the coil. The timely and reliable discharge of punching waste from the mold is the basis for ensuring the normal production of the continuous mold and its efficiency. For the fine punching die, the punched waste cannot leak out from the die hole, but can only be ejected from the die surface. 2. The depth of the float pin of the unloading plate in the continuous die should be reasonable. When the part material is very thin, the height position of the float pin and the depth of the relief hole of the unloading plate should match, if the unloading plate If the relief hole is too deep, the material will bend upwards under the force of the compression spring, and the material will not be able to feed normally; if the relief hole is too shallow, the material will be cut off. Therefore, the depth of the float pin of the unloading plate in the continuous die should be reasonable. 3. Continuous molds should not have positioning devices such as stoppers, side edges, etc. When using continuous molds to stamp workpieces, it is necessary to solve the problem of accurate positioning of the strips and ensure that the steps of the continuous molds are consistent. Only then can it be possible to punch out qualified parts. Commonly used positioning devices have several forms such as fixed stop pins, guide pins, guide plates, and side blades. 4. The position of the side edge in the continuous die can not be ignored. The side edge positioning can accurately control the step distance, and the positioning accuracy is high, but it is necessary to cut off one or both sides of the strip to form waste and cause waste. When using the side edge fixed distance, the side edge position should be appropriate. 5. The shape of the side edge in the continuous die cannot be ignored. There are three types of side edge shapes in the continuous die: rectangular flat side edge, L-shaped side edge and concave side edge. The rectangular flat side edge is easy to manufacture, but it is easy to produce burrs. The L-shaped side edge affects the feeding, and the concave cut will not affect the feeding, but it increases the difficulty of manufacturing the side edge. 6. The guide pin of the continuous mold should not be too long. In order to control the feeding step, the continuous mold needs a better positioning device. Among them, the guide pin is a widely used precision positioning method in continuous molds. It must be noted that the length of the guide pin should not be too large, and the length of the guide hole should not be too large, otherwise it will break due to insufficient rigidity.
