Analysis on the construction principle and tablet pressing process of single punch tablet machine

The tablet pressing process of the tablet press is automatically and continuously carried out from feeding, pressurizing to discharging. The structure of the tablet press is to complete such a process. Figure 166 is an electric single-punch tablet machine, and Figure 167 is the main part of the tablet press.

   As shown in Figure 167, when starting, first turn the wheel by hand to produce the following actions; (1) The upper punch 1 rises, and the lower punch lowers; (2) The feed shoe is transferred to the die ring 2, and the The pellets in the boot are filled with the die hole; (3) The feed boot is moved away from the die circumference, while the upper punch descends to compress the pellets into tablets; (4) The upper and lower punches rise successively, and the lower punch pushes the tablet out of the die hole to The lower edge of the tablet is flush with the upper surface of the die ring; (5) The feed shoe is transferred to the die ring and the tablet is pushed down the die table into the receiver, while the lower punch drops again. The die hole is filled with particles again; in this way, the tablet is pressed out repeatedly. The weight and hardness of the tablet (that is, the size of the compression) can be adjusted by the regulator 5. The lower the undershoot, the greater the increase in die hole capacity, which can increase the weight of the tablet; on the contrary, the less the decrease, the thinner and lighter the tablet. However, in any case, the ejection regulator 4 must be used, so that when the undershoot rises to the highest point, the total top must be flush with the die trap platform. The lower the upstroke decreases, the greater the pressure, and the harder the tablet. On the contrary, the higher the decrease, the lower the pressure and the looser the tablet.
