Code description of common raw materials for metal stamping parts

SPCC: (Cold-rolled carbon steel sheet) This material can be divided into two kinds of materials: single light and double light. This material is very easy to scratch and rust. SECC: (Electrolytic lead zinc-plated steel sheet) Because there are many sources of this material, it is roughly divided into: 1. Taiwan (China Steel) 2. Japan (NKK, Nippon Steel, Kobe) 3. Made in Korea, because there are more types, We need to pay attention when choosing materials. It is resistant to fingerprints, has excellent corrosion resistance, and adheres to the workability of cold-rolled sheets. SGCC: (Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet) The Taiwan material number is GI material, and the appearance is divided into two types: pattern and no pattern. There are no international steel mills that can consume high-quality materials. They are mainly exported from abroad. Taiwan has chinasteel and shengyu steel corporation that can consume them. Main features: 1. Corrosion resistance; 2. Paintability; 3. Formability; 4. Spot weldability. Uses: It is very common, small home appliances, where the surface is good, but compared to SECC, its price is a bit more expensive, many manufacturers switch to SECC in order to save costs. Classification of spangle points: normal regular spangle and minimized spangle stamping die design: common stamping material codes and names are summarized, and engineers have a copy of SPHC: (hot-rolled steel plate) is generally called hot-rolled plate or black iron plate, which has high hardness. SK: (Carbon tool steel) There are three commonly used SK materials: SK-3, SK-5, and SK-7. AL: (Aluminum) is easily scratched and crushed. Common models are 1050 and 5020. This kind of material has textures and is easy to break when bent. CU: (Copper) There are bronze, phosphor bronze, brass, and copper (laser cutting is the most difficult). Stamping die design: common stamping material codes and names are summarized, engineers have a copy of SUS: there are 301, 302, 304, 430, etc. on the market. 301 has good elasticity, is harder, non-magnetic, and has lines. Generally, it is necessary to rotate 45 degrees during cutting to avoid breaking when bending. 304 has poor elasticity, softness, non-magnetism, and no lines. 430 is magnetic. Color distinction: SPCC looks very dark,-SB is very bright, so it is called golden plate SGCC. I have seen most of them are bright. Small spangles are actually great to see spangles. Large spangles can be seen clearly. The color of the hexagonal flower block SGLC is similar to that of SGCC, but it has small variegation. It looks great. I have seen SALD which is much different from SGCC, but I think it is brighter, which is sometimes difficult. Differentiating stamping die design: common stamping material codes and names are summarized. The SECC is the easiest to distinguish among these. It is the kind of gray that is different from the above four. It is easy to distinguish SECC and SGCC. It is called EG in Taiwan. GI material. EG is electroplated to form a zinc layer, and GI is to dip the steel plate into molten zinc to form a zinc layer. Therefore, the galvanizing effect of EG is much better than that of GI, and the processability is also better. The size of the spangle and the thickness of the zinc layer can indicate the quality of the galvanizing, the smaller (to ZEROSPANGLE), the thicker the better.
