Factors affecting springback of stamping parts

When stamping parts are processed by stamping processing plants, stamping parts often spring back after processing. There are many factors that affect the springback of stamping parts, including part material, material thickness, punching force, die size and shape, and so on. Next, Precision will explain in detail. (1) The radius of curvature of the mold base. The resilience will increase with the expansion of the radius of curvature, and decrease with the decrease of the radius of curvature. Although there are slight differences due to different materials, it is generally appropriate to choose the thickness of the material below. In addition, the lower limit of the radius of curvature of the bending material must be considered. (2) The size of the fillet of the shoulder of the cavity. When the shoulder arc of the cavity is half large, the parts extend outward, and when the arc is too large, the parts skew inward. Generally choose 2 to 4 times the thickness of the material. (3) Bending depth. The bending depth is small and the inside and outside extension is large, and the outward extension decreases as the depth increases. Generally, the bending depth should be more than 4 times the thickness. (4) The gap between bumps and bumps. When the void of the concave and convex mold is larger than the thickness of the material, the material cannot cater to the mold base very well. The greater the arc semi-warp of the mold base, the greater the resilience force. Conversely, when the gap is too large, the resilience force is basically removed, but it is transformed into an inward skew. Generally, the gap is better than the material thickness by 0.02-0.05mm.
