Zhejiang Jinzhou Pipeline Technology Co., Ltd. (Jinzhou Pipeline, 002443 announced last night that the hollow steel pipe products that had previously successfully responded to the Australian double-counter investigations and received no damage rulings were recently listed again in the relevant Australian anti-dumping and countervailing investigations range.
In response to the application of OneSteel Australian Tube Mills Pty Ltd. (OneSteel Australian Tube Mills Pty Ltd.), the head of the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service announced the formal filing of the anti-dumping and countervailing investigation (hereinafter referred to as the “dual anti-subsidy investigation”. Hollow structural steel pipes originating in China, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and other exports initiated anti-dumping investigations, and at the same time, anti-subsidy investigations were initiated on hollow structural steel pipes exported from China.
The products under the double-reverse investigation are some carbon steel resistance welded pipes, including round or non-round hollow steel pipes with galvanized or non-galvanized surfaces. The dumping and subsidy investigation period is from July 1, 2010 to 2011. June 30th. Jinzhou Pipeline stated that the product involved was galvanized steel pipe with an outer diameter of 21 mm to 165.1 mm. During the above-mentioned investigation period, the sales income of hollow structural steel pipe products exported by Jinzhou Pipeline to Australia was RMB 50,202,400, accounting for 2.52% of the company's total operating income during the period.
Since 2004, Jinzhou Pipeline has successively encountered double-reverse investigations by Australia, the United States, Canada, and the European Union. Australia initiated three consecutive anti-dumping investigations against the above-mentioned export products of the Jinzhou Pipeline in 2008 and 2009, and they ended with a termination of the investigation and a no-damage ruling respectively.
