Shape freezing refers to the ability of a part to maintain the shape obtained in the mold after demolding. There are many factors that affect the moldability, and geometric defects such as introversion, warping, collapse and bulging during the forming process will reduce the moldability. The most important factor affecting shape freezing is springback. After parts are demolded, large shape errors are often caused by excessive springback.
