Four principles of stamping die selection
Stamping die is an indispensable process equipment for stamping production, and it is a technology-intensive product. The quality, production efficiency and production cost of stamping parts are directly related to mold design and manufacturing. The level of mold design and manufacturing technology is one of the important indicators to measure the level of product manufacturing in a country, and to a large extent determines the product quality, efficiency and new product development capabilities. Choosing a stamping die is very important.
Select the stamping die according to the following principles:
①For the contour that can be classified into the basic graphics, first search for the punching die library to see if there is a punching die that is completely consistent with the contour and can be punched out with a punching action. If there is such a die, the stamping die set under Select stamping die will be ignored, and the stamping die found will be used directly.
②For rectangular contours, when the long side is greater than or equal to 1.5 times the short side, it will automatically search for a square stamping die that is consistent with the short side of the rectangle: search for long round grooves or round grooves to see if there is a circle with the same groove width Shaped stamping die, if there is, use the die directly. When the die is not determined after the above two steps, consider using a square die or a circular die to nibble a straight line or an arc.
③First consider the punching die set under the selection of stamping die, analyze whether the straight line to be punched is greater than or equal to 1.5 times the side length of the punching die for the set square die, and analyze the circle to be punched when the circular punching die is inside the curve. Whether the arc diameter is greater than the die diameter. If so, use the set die.
④ If the set die is not suitable, the system will search for square or round die in the stamping die library from small to large, and use a straight line that satisfies the need to be stamped to be greater than or equal to 1.5 times the side length of the die.
