Because the hardness of aluminum is soft and the mold is easy to block, when designing the mold gap, a gap of 10% of the thickness of the material should be reserved. The depth of the knife edge should be 2 mm, and the taper should be 0.8 to 1 degree. between. 3. Slow wire cutting of aluminum alloy workpieces can prevent burrs and irregular blanking. Aluminum parts are prone to high temperatures, so the punch should be made of materials with a hardness above SKD11, and poor quality punches of materials such as D2 cannot be used. 4. Without affecting the number of processes, the punching process should be placed behind as far as possible. For a mold with a large number of punching holes, it is better to add one more process than the punching process. 5. Because aluminum alloy materials are brittle and easy to crack, try not to make crimping lines. Even if you do, make the crimping lines a little wider and the depth of the crimping lines a little shallower. 6. When bending and forming, the aluminum raw material needs to be pasted with PE film. This is because the aluminum material is prone to produce aluminum scraps when bending, and these aluminum scraps can cause damage to the workpiece.
