When encountering cylindrical products, we often consider the use of a rolling machine, but when the diameter of the cylinder is not too large, the efficiency of the rolling machine is relatively low, and the dimensional precision is not enough. At this time, we should consider using stamping dies for processing. The stamping process is not only efficient, but also easy to operate. Today we will share with you the design method of the stamping roll cylinder die. The bending method of the cylindrical shape varies according to the diameter of the circle. 1. Large circular parts with diameter d≥20 mm. Large cylindrical parts can be respectively used three bending methods, two bending methods and one bending methods. (1) Three-step bending method. As shown in the figure below, three processes are used to bend a large circle. This method has low productivity and is suitable for workpieces with large material thickness. (2) The second bending method, as shown in the figure below, uses two processes to bend a large circle, first pre-bend it into three 120-degree waves, and then use the second mold to bend it into a cylindrical shape, and the workpiece is in the direction of the axis of the punch. Remove. 1 a convex mold: 2 a concave mold: 3-positioning plate (3) one-time bending method as shown in the dynamic diagram below, a bending mold that can swing the concave mold is used to form a single bending, and the punch down first presses the blank into a U shape , The convex mold continues to descend, swinging the concave mold to bend the U shape into a cylindrical shape. The workpiece can be removed by pushing the support along the axis of the punch. 2. Small round parts with diameter d≤5 mm. Small cylindrical parts can be bent in two ways. One method is to use two sets of simple bending dies to first bend into a U shape, and then bend the U shape into a cylindrical shape. ,as the picture shows. The other method is to combine the two processes and bend them at one time, as shown in the figure. The blank is positioned by the positioning groove on the die fixing plate 1. When the upper mold goes down, the mandrel male mold 5 and the lower female mold 2 first bend the blank into a U shape. When the upper mold continues to descend, the mandrel punch 5 drives the pressing plate 3 to compress the spring, and the upper concave mold 4 finally bends the parts into shape. After the upper die returns, the workpiece remains on the mandrel punch, and the mandrel punch is pulled out, and the workpiece falls without motion. In this structure, the pressure of the upper mold spring must be greater than the pressure when the blank is first pressed into a U shape before it can be bent into a cylindrical shape.
