How to design a stamping die

Precision has focused on the processing and customization of precision stamping parts for more than 10 years, providing one-stop solutions for stamping, metal insert injection molding, and automated assembly. Mold development is the prerequisite for our independent production, so how to design stamping dies? Next we look at the design steps of the stamping die. 1. Generally, the edges are cut first, punched straight, pre-broken, crimped, punched, teared, (cut, stretched), punched and blanked, pressed burrs, formed, and bent in two steps. Shape one half, and then shape the other half. 2. When punching and blanking, generally the small round hole is punched first, and then the hole is punched; the waste near the forming is first washed off, and then the leftover material in other positions is dropped: because if the small round hole is placed at the back, then When it is punching, there is likely to be a vacancy (the hole that has been punched on the front) around the punch that matches the material carried. That way, the punch may have uneven bearing force during the entire punching process, and the original small round hole may be punched. The sub-compressive strength is too weak, coupled with uneven bearing capacity, it is easy to break. Naturally, this is only in most cases. Sometimes according to the requirements of the specific situation, the small round hole punching can be arranged behind, but there are still methods. The thickness of the punch is really small, and it can be reinforced: A: adopts precision guidance for stripping; B: the punch is produced and processed by PG. 3. Determine whether to use blanking: blanking is generally used in continuous molds and blanking dies. Its actual effect is coarse positioning, which is beneficial to feeding when the test piece is tested; some blank holders also have the actual effect of punching the appearance design. If the mold first punches and accurately locates the needle hole, then immediately guide the needle with the correct guide needle.
