Recently, it has been discovered that many stamping workers are not skilled enough in the process of installing stamping dies on the punching machine. Today, through illustrations, we will teach you step by step how to install stamping dies correctly and quickly: Installing stamping dies is mainly familiar with the three parts of the punching machine. : Stroke screw, mold gland and workbench. As shown in the figure below. 1. It is necessary to understand the structure and working process of the punch used, and carefully check whether the punch can work normally. 2. Clean the work surface of the punch press, put the stamping die on the worktable, separate the upper and lower die, and put a pad iron between the die and the punch to prevent the punch from entering the die. 3. Use a punch wrench to adjust the punch stroke screw to the shortest position, move the flywheel (or use the inching button) to lower the slider to the bottom dead center, and introduce the die handle into the die handle of the slider plane when the slider is lowered In the hole. The position of the stroke screw is shown in the figure: 4. Use the punch wrench to adjust the punch slider connecting rod to make the slider go down until the lower surface of the slider contacts the upper surface of the die upper template, and then tighten the bolts on the die gland to move the upper die Fasten on the slider. The picture below shows the mold gland. 5. Move the flywheel (or use the inching button) to separate the upper and lower molds, and take out the shim. 6. Move the flywheel (or use the jog button) to lower the slider to the bottom dead center, adjust the punch slider connecting rod to slowly lower the slider and move the lower mold, so that the punch enters the concave mold about 1mm. 7. Observe whether the gap between the cutting edges of the upper and lower molds is uniform. If it is not uniform, tap the lower mold with a mallet until the gap is uniform, and then press the lower mold with a pressure plate. It should be noted here that when striking the mold, a mallet or copper rod must be used to avoid damage to the mold. When tightening the lower die, the bolts need to be tightened diagonally. 8. Move the flywheel (or use the jog button), try to punch a cardboard, observe the cross-section, and judge whether the gap is even. If it is not, adjust again until the gap is even. 9. After adjustment, remove the debris on the mold and the workbench, start the punch, and try to punch the iron plate after an empty punch. 10. Observe the section of the stamping parts. If the peripheral burrs are not uniform, adjust the gap again and try punching until the periphery is uniform. 11. Adjust the slider connecting rod according to the condition of the test punching steel plate to minimize the depth of the punch into the concave mold (as long as the steel plate can be punched down to extend the life of the stamping die). 12. After the adjustment is completed, start the punch for a test punch. 13. Detect the test parts, analyze the product defects that appear, and solve the problem of product defects by debugging the mold. 14. After testing and debugging, clean up tools and debris around the punch. Start production. At this point, the installation of the stamping die is completed. For workers without installation experience, they must be installed under the leadership of an experienced master to avoid damage to the die.
