In the heat treatment process, precision stamping parts molds often deform. In order to prevent this bad phenomenon, as long as you grasp its deformation law, analyze its causes, and use different methods to prevent mold deformation, it can be reduced. Can be controlled. Generally speaking, the following methods can be used to prevent the heat treatment deformation of precision and complex molds. (1) Precision stamping parts are selected according to fairness. For precision and complex molds, micro-deformed mold steels with good materials (such as air-quenched steels) should be selected. Mold steels with severe carbide segregation should be properly casted. For larger and uncastable mold steels, solid solution double-refining heat treatment can be performed. . (2) The mold structure design of precision stamping parts should be fair, the thickness should not be too large, and the shape should be symmetrical. For larger deformed molds, the deformation law should be grasped and the machining allowance should be reserved. For large, precise and complex molds, a combined structure can be used. (3) The complex molds of precision stamping parts should be pre-heated to eliminate the residual stress generated during the machining process. (4) Choose the heating temperature reasonably and control the heating speed. For precision and complex molds, slow heating, preheating and other balanced heating methods can be used to reduce the heat treatment deformation of the mold. (5) Under the condition of ensuring the hardness of the mold, try to use the pre-cooling, hierarchical cooling quenching or warm quenching process. (6) For precision and complex molds, if the premise permits, try to use vacuum heating quenching and cryogenic treatment after quenching.
