The selection of blanking gap is the main factor that affects the burr problem. If the gap is too small or too large, it will cause the burr problem. Generally speaking, the gap value of the cutting edge is selected differently according to the thickness of the plate. 2. Principles for selecting mold materials. The trimming block needs to have sufficient strength and wear resistance to ensure mass production. The material of the tool block is generally Cr12MoV, flame quenching (air cooling) is carried out before finishing, and the theoretical hardness value after heat treatment is 53~57HRC. When the hardness value is insufficient, the production process is prone to wear and the gap value is too large, and when the hardness value is too large, the toughness of the tool block decreases, and the finishing process is prone to chipping and serrated cutting edges. 3. Choice of trimming angle. When there is a certain angle between the cutting edges of the upper and lower die, the upper crack of the plate is in the vertical direction, and the lower crack is the direction perpendicular to the plane of the plate. As a result, the upper and lower cracks cannot be overlapped, and burrs are easily generated. When the trimming angle is too large, choose to increase the oblique wedge to ensure vertical cutting; if the mold structure cannot increase the oblique wedge, make a local platform at the angle cutting edge. The width of the platform is generally 3 times the material thickness. The gap needs to tend to 0, so as to ensure that the upper and lower cracks are in the vertical direction during the trimming process.
