Many friends, seeing that others can make money by opening a stamping factory, they followed suit. They settled the investment in the stamping factory, but there were no orders. In fact, the stamping factory has no orders, not only because of the market environment, but also because of its own reasons. These reasons basically include the following aspects: 1. Blindly setting up a factory without professional knowledge and stamping seem to be simple. The product can be processed as soon as the punch is pressed, but in actual operation, it is full of problems. Die damage, large product burrs, punch failure and other problems cannot be solved quickly, and normal production cannot be performed if there is a problem. Simple parts are not profitable. Don't want to do, and complicated parts can't be done. This is a common problem in most stamping factories. I have been in contact with many stamping factories. Some only process blanking, punching, bending, and even the most basic deep-drawn parts. Some can only produce simple carbon steel parts, aluminum, copper, and stainless steel parts. can not do this. For example, a customer's order has both carbon steel stamping parts and copper stamping parts, but you can only process carbon steel, so this kind of order can only be abandoned. 2. Insufficient equipment strength. Stamping plants are not only as simple as stamping, but also need basic mechanical processing equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, sawing machines, rivet machines, and so on. Nowadays, stamping parts orders are rarely pure stamping processing. These orders often include two or more of stamping, lathe, riveting, welding and other processes. When an order is received, if only other processes are outsourced for stamping, the overall product price will no longer have any advantage. 3. 90% of the stamping products with imperfect peripherals require surface treatment. Carbon steel mainly includes heat treatment, galvanizing, nickel plating, chromium plating, hot-dip galvanizing, painting, spraying, etc.; aluminum alloy is mainly oxidation; stainless steel is polished, nickel-plated, etc.; copper is mainly oxidation, tin plating, and plating Nickel etc. If these supporting facilities are not available to the company, a large part of the orders will be lost. 4. There is no advantage in raw materials. The cost of raw materials directly determines the cost of stamping parts. If the cost of raw materials is too high, it will be directly lost on the starting line! For some less demanding products, the use of leftover materials can greatly reduce the cost of the product. In some areas where stamping factories are concentrated, there are markets specializing in leftover materials. In addition, for some precision stamping parts, it is necessary to be able to find materials with materials and thicknesses that meet the standards. 5. Logistics delivery is inconvenient. The author encountered a stamping factory before, and it was so located that it had to drive dozens of kilometers to have logistics. In the case of relatively small orders, the profit is not enough to go to the oil money for logistics delivery! Regardless of the industry, convenient and fast logistics are a must. The number of orders placed by logistics customers can guarantee timely delivery. 6. The product is not professional. Although the range of products that can be processed by the stamping process is relatively wide, you can't do this today and tomorrow. In the end, it will be difficult to do that. Now that you have opened a stamping factory, you must be professional. A large part of the customers of the stamping factory are customers introducing other customers. Only by being professional can customers willingly introduce other customers to themselves. 7. Not responding to customers in a timely manner. When customers have an order inquiry, they cannot reply to the quotation in the first time. The customer is definitely not looking for a stamping factory with an order. Among these colleagues, whoever makes the most timely quotation creates a very good first impression for the customer. Many stamping factories became very impatient when the customer consulted for many times and still did not place an order. They felt that the customer was asking blindly and became indifferent to the customer's consultation. If so, will he still find you when the customer really wants to place an order? 8. I don’t understand sales, I don’t know where to find customers; I don’t know who the potential customers are; I’m lazy and don’t run customers. There is no plan to run customers to find orders. To find an order, we must make a plan in advance. Where can I find it? How to find? What materials should be prepared? These must be prepared in advance. When there is no order, I often complain, find excuses, and attribute the reason for the lack of order to objective aspects, such as market environment, competitors, and personal connections. I have never reviewed my responsibilities for not having an order from a subjective perspective in the future. Do you work hard enough to reflect on it? 10. Insufficient integrity. The most important thing to do in business is integrity. If you can't take orders in the future, you can say that everything is good. It is okay to make products that can't be made, so you won't be able to retain customers in the end! Unable to receive orders can directly tell the customer why they can’t do it and why they can’t do it, and then they can tell the customer what kind of order it has more advantages to do. This will make customers feel that you are more honest, and will think of you when there are similar orders in the future. After receiving the order, we must meet the customer's product size requirements, surface treatment, and delivery date. These are just part of the reasons why the stamping plant has no orders, and more need to be summarized by yourself. Finding an order is never a simple matter.
