The main purpose of electroplating is to prevent product oxidation, reduce contact resistance, increase solder resistance, increase wear resistance, and increase life. Punching mesh electroplating is a method of applying a layer of plating on the surface and using electrode reaction to form a plating layer on the surface of precision stamping parts. The material (workpiece) with a conductive surface is used as the cathode, and the dissolved metal (Ni, Sn/Pb, etc.) is used as the anode. Placed in the electrolyte solution, under the action of external direct current, the anode metal is dissolved into metal ions and precipitated on the cathode (workpiece), thereby forming an electroplated layer firmly combined with the workpiece. The inspection methods of the coating mainly include: steel needle grid or bending test, this inspection method is mainly to test the adhesion of the coating; X-Ray equipment mainly inspects the thickness and composition of the electroplating coating; visual inspection is mainly for appearance inspection; gelatin electrolysis The test is mainly used to test the porosity of the coating; SEM/EDX analysis is to test the analysis of contaminants, and see if it does not meet the standards.
