1) Wear resistance of stamping machine tools The wear resistance of the boronized layer is better than that of nitriding and hard chromium plating. Under the conditions of rolling wear, the wear resistance of the boronized layer is also better than that of the nitrided layer and the nitrocarburized layer.
2) Corrosion resistance of press machine tools The boronized layer has good corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and phosphoric acid solutions, but poor corrosion resistance in nitric acid. 3) High temperature oxidation resistance The boronized layer has good high temperature oxidation resistance and can be used in air below 800 degrees.
