Methods and precautions for using a hand saw to process different materials 1. Hand saw processing method (1) Sawing of flat steel: draw a circle at the saw cut of the flat steel, and saw from both ends of the wide surface respectively. When the two saw seams are about to be joined, tap lightly to break and separate them. . In this way, the sawing efficiency is high, and the saw tooth chipping can be better prevented. On the other hand, if sawing from a narrow surface, it is not only uneconomical, but also only a few saw teeth contact the workpiece. The thinner the workpiece, the easier the saw teeth are hooked and broken by the edge of the workpiece. as the picture shows. (2) The sawing of channel steel: the sawing of channel steel is the same as that of flat steel, but it must be sawed down from the wide side surface in two times. It cannot be sawed down on one surface. It should be as long as possible. Saw from the mouth, so the workpiece must change the clamping position many times. The operating procedure is as shown in figure (a), first saw one side of the channel steel on the wide surface; as shown in figure (b), clamp the channel steel in reverse, and saw the wide surface of the middle part; as shown in figure (c), then cut the channel steel Side turn to clamp, saw the wide side of the other side of the channel steel. As shown in Figure (d), the sawing method is wrong. The channel steel is only clamped and sawed once. This kind of sawing efficiency is low. When sawing a high and narrow middle part, the saw teeth are easy to break and the saw is not kerf. smooth. (3) Sawing of pipes: Use a fine-tooth saw blade. When the pipe wall is sawed through, the pipe will be rotated at an appropriate angle in the direction of the push saw, and then sawing is continued, turning in turn until the pipe is sawn off. The pipe must be clamped straight when sawing. For thin-walled pipes and finished pipes, they should be sandwiched between V-grooved wood linings. Note: When sawing pipes, you cannot saw to the end from one direction, because after the saw blade passes through the inner wall of the pipe, the serrations cut on the thin wall. Due to the concentrated force, it is easy to be hooked and broken by the pipe wall. as the picture shows. (4) Thin board: When sawing, it is possible to saw from the wide side as much as possible. If it is necessary to saw from the narrow side, it can be clamped by two wooden mats, and the wood block can be sawn together, or the thin board can be directly clamped on the vise. , Use a hand saw to make a horizontal oblique push saw to increase the number of teeth contacting the thin sheet of the saw tooth and avoid the saw tooth chipping. as the picture shows. (5) Deep seam: When sawing deep seams, that is, when the depth of the saw seam exceeds the height of the saw bow, first saw vertically as shown in figure (a). When the height of the saw seam reaches the height of the saw bow, the saw bow will When the tools collide, sawing cannot be continued; at this time, the saw blade should be removed and the saw blade should be rotated 90 degrees. Reinstall the clamp and continue sawing according to the original saw path as shown in figure (b); when the saw bow height is still not enough, turn the saw blade 90 degrees to re-clamp, and continue to saw according to the original saw path as shown in figure (c) . 2. Precautions for hand saw sawing (1) The saw blade should be of appropriate tension and the pressure should not be too large during sawing to prevent it from breaking and hurting people; (2) When the saw seam is skewed, it should not be rushed to correct it, but it needs to be gradually corrected. Correction; (3) The saw blade is not installed on the saw bow and cannot be sawed to prevent it from breaking and the saw tooth piercing the hand; (4) When the sawing time is too long, add coolant; (5) Do not directly touch the saw blade. ; (6) When removing the saw blade, lift it up during the movement; (7) Do not saw the workpiece directly to avoid smashing the foot.
