Mold management content and requirements: Vibration aging is to use mechanical methods to generate resonance frequencies for the processed castings, and vibration stress is used to reduce the casting stress or change the casting stress In order to realize the stabilization of the geometric dimensions of the castings. Compared with thermal aging, vibration aging has the following advantages: 1. Thermal aging requires a large annealing furnace, complex equipment, and large production area. The equipment required for vibration aging is simple, easy to operate, small in area, can be processed anywhere, and the size of the workpiece is not limited. 2. Thermal aging consumes a lot of fuel. The energy required for vibration aging is very small. It is said that a one-horsepower mechanical vibrator can handle more than 50 tons of castings. When vibrating aging castings, the bottom of the castings needs to be cushioned with polyurethane. For castings within 3 meters, there are 4 cushions, and for castings larger than 3 meters, 6 cushions should be evenly placed. For small molds within 4 meters, the vibration time is 40 minutes. Castings larger than 4 meters need to be vibrated on both sides, and the vibration time on each side is 40 minutes.
