In order to design an efficient and stable automatic terminal crimping equipment, the existing domestic fully automatic terminal crimping equipment (double-ended) was studied, and it was found that the cam transmission structure ensures the stability of the equipment, but the production capacity of the equipment is lower. The new equipment optimizes and integrates the actions of existing equipment, especially those that rely on mechanical cams to complete, and proposes a new action plan (changing swing to linear motion), which fundamentally improves efficiency. In terms of mechanical structure design, the straightening mechanism of the wire rod was studied, the advantages and disadvantages of the wire feeding and straightening mechanism of the existing equipment were analyzed, and a new type of wire feeding and straightening mechanism was designed for the purpose of ensuring the straightening effect and speed; The movement mechanism of the scrap cutting mechanism has made a dynamic selection for the new scrap cutting mechanism; the theory has proved the reason for the insufficient clamping force of the existing equipment, and a new design mechanism has been proposed; the working principle of the terminal intermittent feed has been analyzed and designed The corresponding mechanical mechanism. In the control system, the main power components required by the equipment were analyzed first, the distribution of I/O points and the selection of related PLC and servo motors were made, and the subroutines of each mechanism were designed. Based on the finite element analysis software ABAQUS, the process of crimping the terminal was simulated and analyzed, focusing on the impact of the various parameters of the stamping die (the height of the separation tip of the stamping die, the inclination angle, and the speed) on the terminal insulation crimping, and the stamping die with the best parameters was obtained.
