If not, you can also use a cemented carbide tool. The higher the hardness, the better. It is recommended to be above 55 degrees. 2. Since the hardness of the titanium alloy processing tool is higher, the texture is tighter, and the heat transfer effect is better, so try not to use coated tools. Titanium alloy materials will have an 'affinity' reaction with the titanium in the coating, resulting in 'sticky knife' . 3. Titanium alloy has low density, low hardness, and the material is very cotton, which is easy to 'give the knife'. During rough machining, only 'cutting is not in place' will occur, but 'overcutting' will not occur. In order to avoid 'letting the knife' size is not in place, titanium alloy precision machining and repeated machining, leaving as little margin as possible to improve the efficiency of titanium alloy precision machining. 4. Cooling measures must be taken during precision machining of titanium alloys, and no dry cutting is allowed. Pay more attention to the finishing of small micro cutting. Titanium alloy chips with very small particle size will 'burn' at about 200 degrees Celsius, which will affect the forming quality of precision stamping products.
