Some purchasers and technicians are not a department, so after seeing the drawings of metal stamping parts, you must carefully review to see if there are any problems that the drawing designers overlooked. If there are any problems, they must be raised with the customer before the quotation. If the quotation is made afterwards, it will make customers feel that you are unprofessional or want to increase the price. For some new products, you can ask customers about their usage, and use your professional knowledge to recommend more suitable materials or processing solutions to customers. For example, some less demanding dimensions or shapes, if they can be changed, may reduce stamping waste and reduce costs. Second, we must learn to choose some salespersons, face the inquiry, regardless of the situation of the other party, will seriously quote. In fact, it is not. After receiving the inquiry, you must first distinguish whether this is a real customer or not, so as not to waste your precious time on colleagues or boring people. In fact, this is relatively easy to distinguish, mainly through the following points to distinguish whether it is a real customer: 1. Ask the other party’s company name. If the other party does not tell you the company name, this kind of inquiry must be paid attention to. Those who refuse to disclose the name of the company have a high probability of peer inquiry. 2. Look at the drawings. If the drawings are very unprofessional, and even the most basic tolerance grades, material requirements, drawing numbers, etc. are not marked, the possibility of unreliability is relatively high. 3. The real customers who care about the factory are more concerned about the actual situation of the factory, such as: how many punching machines there are, whether they can independently process stamping dies, whether they can perform surface treatment, and so on. For those who do not come to inspect the factory but let you go to him, you must carefully distinguish. There are also many customers asking for prices, just want to see your quotation, and then ask a few more prices based on your price. For such customers, no matter what price is quoted, it is difficult to make a deal. For this kind of customer, I suggest that a friend who is a stamping factory say: I'm sorry, I feel that you still don't know our products very well, can you ask my colleagues? Three, a reasonable fuzzy quotation. Quotation is also a type of company's business information, which is sometimes used by peers. All, the salesman must be adaptable when making quotations. Although the quotation must be accurate, reasonable ambiguity is also necessary. Fuzzy quotation is mainly to leave room for customers to bargain in the future. If the customer bargained in the end, you will not at all, but will let the customer plan. Of course, the fuzzy quotation must be mastered, otherwise the price will be too high to make subsequent negotiations impossible. Fourth, the quotation must be punctual. Because metal stamping parts are more complicated, the quotation requires comprehensive calculation by the mold master and the stamping master, which makes the quotation take a certain amount of time.
