Reasons for not using simple stamping dies as stamping parts samples

Recently, after receiving the quotation of metal stamping parts, many customers proposed to make a simple stamping die to make a few samples for testing. For this type of customer, we suggest that it is best to inform the customer at the beginning. Don't make simple molds. The main reasons are as follows: 1. Simple stamping dies cannot make stamping parts that fully meet the requirements of the drawings. Customers want to use simple stamping dies to make samples. It is nothing more than the final confirmation of the products in the early stage, and they want to spend a relatively small amount of mold fees to test the samples. However, products made with simple stamping dies cannot guarantee dimensional accuracy, and even after customer testing, it is impossible to determine whether it is the cause of the product or the cause of unqualified dimensions. 2. Simple stamping dies cannot guarantee the unity of stamping parts. Simple stamping dies cannot guarantee that each stamping part is the same, because simple stamping dies are often not equipped with positioning, guide posts and other accessories. Each punching time will have different deviations, which will cause customers to perform stamping parts. Unable to get satisfactory results during testing. 3. The inability of simple stamping dies for mass production will lead to waste. The simple stamping die has a simple structure and low precision. After the customer confirms the sample, it cannot be mass-produced and can only be discarded. This leads to serious waste. In fact, if the customer has no final confirmation of the stamping product, there is no need to open a simple stamping die to produce samples, and other processing techniques can be considered.
