Reasons for the rebound of stainless steel terminal scrap

The rebound of stainless steel terminal mold scrap is the phenomenon that the scrap that should be bottomed out is not bottomed out during the punching process, but due to some reasons as the punch rises, it jumps out of the mold surface, and finally falls on the mold surface. Jumping is likely to cause undesirable problems such as product imprinting, as well as damage to the mold. In high-speed stamping, scrap rebound is the biggest killer of the mold. So, what is the reason for the rebound of stainless steel terminal mold scrap? Please see the following decomposition: ① For regular shapes such as round holes, a certain vacuum is formed between the punch and the waste due to the law of material changes in the punching process. When the punch rises, the waste will jump out under the action of the vacuum. Concave die surface; ② Due to the viscosity of the punching oil in the production (example: N305), it is easy to make the waste stick to the punch (especially the thin material with t<0.5mm), and the waste will be separated under the action of the viscosity when the punch rises. Die; ③ The die is too smooth to provide enough friction for the waste, and the waste is separated from the die under the action of the vacuum and the viscous force of the punching oil; ④ The magnetic force generated by the punch in the processing is not eliminated, or the punch is in Magnetic force is generated during long-term work (e.g. when punching copper and aluminum products), and the scrap is released from the die under the magnetic force of the punch, causing scrap to rebound; ⑤ The punching gap selected by the die is too large or too small And the cutting edge is too sharp, the friction between the scrap and the die is too small, causing the scrap to jump back.
