Requirements to be met when designing forging molds

The forging drawing is the basic technical document in production. According to it, the mold is designed, the size of the original blank is determined, and the forging is checked and accepted. The machining workshop also designs tool fixtures based on the forging drawing.

The following requirements should be met when designing forging dies:

(4). The forging die should meet the requirements of productivity when working;

(5). Easy to operate;

(6). Simple mold manufacturing;

(7). Forging die installation, adjustment and maintenance are easy;

(8). Save forging die materials as much as possible on the premise of ensuring die strength;

(9). The external dimensions of the forging die should meet the technical specifications of the equipment.
