The following aspects should be paid attention to for wide-flange cylindrical deep-drawn stampings: 1) When calculating the size of the blank, a trimming allowance of 1 to 6 mm should be added to the flange. 2) The diameter of the flange formed during the first drawing cannot be reduced in each subsequent drawing, otherwise the workpiece will be easily broken. 3) In order to ensure that the workpiece does not crack during the subsequent deep drawing, the material drawn into the die for the first time should be 3-10% (referring to the area) more than the material of the last drawn part of the workpiece to reduce the tensile stress. The material rises slightly during each deep drawing. However, if too much material is pulled in, the flange part will be uneven, which will affect the quality of stamping products. 4) The R concave and R convex of each drawing die should be gradually reduced, and the height of h will also change gradually, but due to the rebound of the material, h may not necessarily increase, but sometimes decreases. 5) When the size of the workpiece is strictly required or the fillet radius is too small, it should be reshaped at the last time.
