The disadvantage is that the weight is relatively heavy, easy to rust, poor thermal conductivity, cannot be die-cast, poor plasticity, elongation is lower than aluminum, heat dissipation is worse than aluminum, noise is large, and stability is not as good as aluminum. We know that in an AC motor, the casing does not participate in the conduction of the electrical and magnetic circuits in the motor, so it will not affect the electrical performance of the motor, but will only affect the mechanical performance.
