Specification and method for electroplating inspection of automobile fisheye terminals

The usual inspection items are: film thickness, adhesion, solderability, appearance, packaging, salt spray test. For products with special requirements in the drawings, there is a porosity test (30U') gold using the nitric acid vapor method or other environmental tests. 1. Electroplating film thickness of car fisheye terminal: 1. The film thickness is the basic item of electroplating inspection. The tool used is the (X-RAY) film thickness meter. Car fisheye terminal electroplating adhesion: adhesion test is the basic test item for electroplating, and poor adhesion is also one of the most common bad phenomena in electroplating. There are two detection methods: 1. Result judgment: 1) There should be no drop of metal powder and sticking of tape. 2) There must be no peeling off the metal coating. 3) When the substrate is not broken, there should be no serious cracking and peeling after bending. 4) There must be no blistering. 5) The underlying metal must not be exposed when the substrate is not broken. 3. Solderability of car fisheye terminal electroplating 1. Solderability is the basic function and purpose of tinning. If there is a requirement for post-welding procedures, poor soldering is unacceptable. 2. The basic method of soldering test: 1) Direct immersion tin method: According to the drawing, directly immerse the solder part with the required flux and immerse it in a 235 degree tin furnace. After 5 seconds, it should be slowly to about 25mm /S speed to take out. For products with special requirements on some of the strength surfaces, the samples should be aged for 8 or 16 hours with a steam aging tester before welding tests to determine the product’s performance in harsh environments. Welding performance. 4. Appearance of automobile fisheye terminal electroplating: 1. Appearance inspection is the basic function of electroplating inspection. Different customers have different requirements for appearance. Generally, electroplating terminals should be observed with a microscope of more than 10 times. . 2. Inspection steps: 1). Take the sample under a 10x microscope and illuminate it vertically with a standard white light source: 2). Observe the surface condition of the product through the eyepiece. 3. Judgment method: 1). Uniform color, no dark or light color, different color (such as blackening, redness, yellowing), and no serious chromatic aberration in gold plating. 2). Do not stick to any foreign matter (dust, dust, oil, crystals) 3). Must be dry, not wet 4). Smoothness is good, no cavities, particles 5). No crushing, Scratches, scratches and other deformation phenomena and the phenomenon of plated parts damage 6). There must not be exposed the phenomenon of the lower layer. 5. The label must be completed and correct. 6. Salt spray test of automobile fisheye terminal electroplating 1. Salt spray is one of the most effective testing methods to verify the subsequent anti-environmental ability of electroplating products. Electronic electroplating generally adopts neutral salt spray test. 2. Inspection steps: 1). Take samples and place them in a salt spray test box with a salt water concentration of 5% for continuous spraying. 2). Determine the salt spray test time according to customer requirements. 3. Judgment method: 1). The appearance must not be green or yellow. 2). There is no blackening of the tin-plated layer
