Some deep-drawn parts have high requirements for surface quality, such as stainless steel products, automobile outer coverings, etc., if the blanks with pits or scratches are used for deep drawing, these defects will remain in the products without exception. Stainless steel materials are not easy to be drawn due to their high tensile strength and severe work hardening, especially if they need to be drawn multiple times. The larger the R value and the n value, the better the drawing performance of the material. Like austenitic stainless steel (such as 304), the n value is large, and it is easy to form the irregular shape of the sink, but the R value is not as large as that of low-carbon steel, so the ultimate drawing coefficient is not as good as that of low-carbon steel. Although some ferritic stainless steels have a higher R value than austenitic stainless steels (such as 304), the n value is lower and the drawing performance is not good.
