The basic structure of the stamping die

Stamping dies can generally be divided into upper die and lower die. The upper mold is composed of a mold handle (punch handle), a guide sleeve, a punch, a backing plate, a fixing plate, a screw, a pin, an upper mold seat (upper support), and a stripper plate. The lower mold is generally composed of a lower mold seat, a guide plate (side guide plate), a die, a baffle plate, a bearing plate, a guide post, a screw, and a pin.

Generally, stamping dies are divided into two categories. One is process parts. These parts directly participate in the completion of the process and have direct contact with the blank. They only complete the process of the mold and do not directly participate in the process, nor Direct contact with the blank is only used to ensure the completion of the mold process, or to improve the function of the mold, including guiding parts, fastening parts, standard parts and other parts.
