When explaining to the customer, you must tell the customer the cross-section of the metal stamping parts. What are the characteristics of the cross-section of the metal stamping parts? Today, stamping will give you a detailed explanation. In normal stamping processing, the section of metal stamping parts has four obvious characteristic areas: rounded corners, bright belts, fractured belts and burrs. The four characteristic areas of blanking parts and punching machines are marked in the figure below. One, rounded corners. The rounded corner is also called the collapsed corner, which is caused by bending and stretching of the surface of the material that is close to the upper or lower die but not in contact with the stamping die. Second, the bright band. The bright band is produced when the upper die cuts the steel plate and the material is squeezed into the lower die to produce plastic and shear deformation. The bright band is the area with the best cross-sectional quality of the metal stamping parts. The bright band is flat and perpendicular to the plane of the steel plate. Precision stamping is generally the bright belt pursued. Third, the fault zone. The surface of the fracture zone is relatively rough and has an inclination of about 5 degrees, which is caused by the expansion of cracks formed during punching. Four, glitches. The burr is close to the edge of the fracture zone, and the position of the crack is not facing the knife edge of the die, but on the side close to the knife edge of the stamping die, which will be aggravated when the metal stamping part is pushed out of the die by the lower die. A good metal stamping section should first control burrs, minimize burrs, and then pursue bright bands.
