The characteristics of castings are that it is easy to obtain workpieces with complex shapes that are difficult to obtain by other methods; the cost of castings is low; precision castings can be obtained by special processes, and the surface of the castings has ideal finish without processing; castings The forming is simple and the price is cheaper than forging; however, defects and non-dense areas are prone to appear in the castings. Domestic technology generally cannot guarantee the quality of the castings in strong corrosion and high pressure situations. Forgings are formed by forging bars using forging equipment. It is impossible to forge more complex workpieces and requires a large amount of processing, but the forging structure is relatively dense and is not prone to internal defects, so it is widely used in the processing of demanding parts. 2. Although the casting technology has developed tremendously, and computer technology is used to assist in optimizing the structural design and the fluid geometric design of the casting process, it is still extremely difficult to achieve good quality requirements.
