Usually it is required that the hardness of the cutting edge should reach about HRC55~65 after quenching. The third key point is the width of the cutting edge. In the process of processing stampings, the width of the cutting edge of the upper die used should be controlled within 25mm, and the width of the outer cutting edge of the lower die should not exceed 20mm, and the width of the cutting edge in the lower die should be kept Within 15mm. If it exceeds this range, the backing should be milled before quenching. The fourth key point is the choice of machine tool. It is recommended that you choose a CNC machine tool with a closed-loop servo system with good system stability and high precision. The fifth key point is the margin. That is to say, in the process of processing stamping parts, after semi-finishing of the used cutting edge, the reserved machining allowance should be kept in the range of 0.2-0.3mm. Otherwise, if the machining volume is too large, the accuracy may be reduced, and at the same time, the tool wear problem may be aggravated, and if the margin is too small and the quenching deformation is large, it may cause shortage of material. The last key point is the quality of the selected tool. Under normal circumstances, when we choose a tool, we should check the three principles of applicability, safety and economy. In the case of meeting the processing requirements of stamping parts, the overhang length of the tool should be as short as possible, and the diameter of the tool should be as large as possible to control the roughness of the processed surface.
