1 Large-scale motor my country's large-scale motor industry is still dominated by thermal power, and the installed capacity has become saturated. The market capacity in the next few years will tend to balance, but there is still a certain demand for high-grade non-oriented electrical steel. Thermal power will expand its market abroad, especially export to developing countries, with a large market space. Nuclear power is one of my country's priority energy development directions, and it is also the focus of power construction in the future. There will be dozens of two and a half and third generation (AP1000, EPR) nuclear power plants planned for construction. As a clean and renewable energy, wind power is being promoted in all regions where conditions permit. The proved theoretical reserves of wind energy reach 3.226 billion kW. It is estimated that by 2020, my country’s total installed wind power capacity will reach 230 million kW, and the total power generation will reach 464.9 billion kWh. 80 to 100,000 tons of high-grade non-oriented electrical steel will be added every year demand. 2 Small and medium-sized motors According to the statistics of the Small and Medium-sized Motors Branch of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, there are about 2,000 to 3,000 motor factories in the country, with more than 300 series and nearly 1,500 varieties of products. The main varieties are Y, Y2 series and derivative series and other low-voltage three-phase asynchronous motor products (about 70% of the output), as well as YKK and other medium-sized high-voltage motor series three-phase asynchronous motor products, which require approximately 3.5-4 million tons of electrical steel per year. 3 In terms of automobiles, my country's automobile production exceeded 18 million in 2010, a record high in the world, and has become the world's largest producer of automobiles. It is expected that the automobile production will reach 22 million during the 'Twelfth Five-Year' period. With no less than 100 micro motors for each high-end car or mid-range car, it is necessary to use iron cores made of various grades of non-oriented electrical steel such as 0.15 mm, 0.20 mm, 0.35 mm and 0.50 mm.
