For example, ordinary engineering molds do not have a blanking groove, but why do continuous molds need to design a blanking groove? This is because the materials stamped by engineering dies are generally thicker, rougher, and less precise. Therefore, the engineering mold generally only needs the finite column and does not need the press groove. For continuous molds, it needs to be mass-produced, and the product accuracy is higher than that of engineering molds. Therefore, the accuracy requirements of the mold are relatively high, and the blanking groove is a way to improve the accuracy of the mold. Therefore, the continuous mold generally uses the press groove and the limit column to control the gap of the product strip in the mold. Why do continuous molds need to design a pressing groove? Because when the continuous die stripper plate is in contact with the lower template and presses the material, strong pressure does not mean that the material can be completely pressed.
