Modern foreign thread processing technology: Since the end of the twentieth century, the thread processing technology of foreign industrially developed countries has undergone a fundamental leap, and the quality of thread processing has been significantly improved. It is embodied in the following aspects:

1. Machine tool adjustment technology: Because of the use of thread indicator gauges and thread single element error separation technology (differential measurement), foreign countries can adjust the machine tool to process threads that are close to the theoretically correct size. In this way, on the one hand, the quality level of the machined thread is greatly improved; on the other hand, the force on the machine tool and cutting tool is reduced, thereby reducing wear and increasing the life of the machine tool and cutting tool. 2. Processing technology parameter control technology: In order to monitor each thread processing process running at high speed, foreign countries have installed sensors to measure the force in the cutting tool support mechanism to draw the force change curve of each thread processing . Based on the force curve that is close to the theoretically correct size of the thread, the maximum allowable change in force is specified. When the force exceeds the specified range, the equipment will automatically shut down, waiting for the technician to analyze the cause of the accident and the equipment will be readjusted. This kind of force monitor has been produced by a specialized manufacturer, and the thread processing enterprise can modify the existing equipment without the monitor. In addition, in order to find abnormalities in cutting tools as early as possible, some equipments are equipped with high-frequency sound measuring instruments to avoid the occurrence of cutting tool tooth chipping.

Some foreign companies use SPC technology to measure the thread size during processing, monitor the change process of thread parameters, and control the processing error of the thread within 60% of the specified tolerance of the product.

3. 100% measurement technology: using laser photography technology, each threaded part can be tested, and unqualified products can be picked out in time.

4. CNC machine tools and computer information management: In order to respond to the market requirements of small batches, multiple varieties and short supply time, foreign companies have begun to use CNC machine tools and computer information management technology to process threaded products. The CNC machine tool can memorize the adjustment position of the same thread before machining, which greatly reduces the time for adjusting the machine tool.
