Understand the dangers and safety measures when using hand-held power tools

Pistol drill:

Unsafe factors (dangerous points)

1. Electric shock:

1. The power supply voltage used must be consistent with the voltage specified by the tool

2. Before use, it must be inspected for good insulation inside, shell and wire, and no leakage is allowed.

3. There must be a correct grounding device before use, and the plug cannot be inserted in the wrong position.

4. Before use, install a qualified leakage protector with rated operating current not greater than 15 mA, operating time not greater than 0.1 seconds, or rated leakage operating current not greater than 30 mA, and operating time not greater than 0.1 seconds before use.

5. When working in a metal container, a special person must be assigned to monitor continuously outside. The leakage protector, power connector and control box should be placed outside the container. The feet of the staff should be padded with insulating plates. When using power tools in particularly humid places, they must be worn. Suitable work clothes, wear insulating gloves and insulating shoes.

2. Mechanical damage:

1. Before use, it must be confirmed that the electric drill is a qualified electric drill, with a label or a certificate.

2. Before use, it must be checked that the nuts of each part of the mechanical transmission part are tightly tightened and can only be used if they are qualified.

3. Before turning on the power, you must carefully check that the switch of the tool used should be in the off position before turning on the power.

4. When replacing the drill bit, the power plug must be unplugged before the replacement work. Check that the drill bit has no cracks and surface defects, and can only be installed after it is qualified.

5. When using, the workpiece must be reliably fixed on the worktable, the drill bit must also be clamped, and the drill bit must not collide with the machine body and the workpiece.

6. Do not use force to touch the drill bit to the object while working, but lightly touch the appropriate entry and keep your hands away from rotating parts.

7. When working, you must wear protective glasses and appropriate work clothes. People with long hair must wear a hat. The work site must be cleaned up. There must be no things caught by the drill bit. Both hands must hold tools and be extra careful.

8. When working, the body must maintain a proper and correct posture, and must stand firm. Do not extend your hands over tools to retrieve objects and work.

9. The tool used must be completely stopped after the switch is turned off before it can be placed in a safe and reliable position, and then the plug must be unplugged.

10. It is strictly forbidden to hold the workpiece with one hand and use the pistol electric drill to work.

11. There must be more than 2 people at work, and there must be a dedicated person for continuous supervision.

Electric wrench:

Unsafe factors (dangerous points)

1. Electric shock:

1. The power supply voltage used must be consistent with the voltage specified by the electric wrench.

2. Before use, it must be checked that the inside, the shell and the wires have good insulation, and no leakage is allowed.

1. Before use, it must be confirmed that the wrench is a qualified wrench, with a label or a certificate.

2. Before use, it is necessary to check that the nuts of each part of the mechanical transmission part are tightly tightened and can be used only after being qualified.

3. When replacing the wrench, the power plug must be unplugged before it can be replaced.

4. The wrench must be securely fixed during use, and both hands must be firmly held (in special circumstances, the wrench can be lifted and fixed) to prevent the risk of unauthorized removal of the tool.

5. Before starting the machine, the direction of rotation must be determined, and the work should be performed after confirming that there is no abnormality. The force should be uniform during work, and excessive force must be prohibited.

6. There must be more than 2 people at work, and a dedicated person will operate the operation box to control the work and stop of the electric wrench.

7. When using, the wrench should be straightened to avoid touching the wrench to prevent the cable from falling off when the cable is charged.

8. When working, the body must maintain a proper and correct posture and stand firm, so that the axis of the tool and the axis of the thread are aligned and held firmly.

9. Before turning on the power, you must carefully check that the switch of the tool used should be in the off position before turning on the power.

10. The tool used must be completely stopped after the switch is turned off before it can be placed in a safe and reliable position, and then the plug must be unplugged.

11. When working vertically upwards, two or more persons must hold the tool, and a third person shall perform the operation.

12. At work, there must be more than 2 people, with a dedicated person for continuous supervision.
