In 2011, the total industrial production value of the fastener industry has reached 14.8 billion yuan, an increase of 9.7% over the same period. The industrial output value of Longwan fasteners increased by 12% over the same period last year. Among them, there are 213 large-scale enterprises in the industry with an annual output value of more than 10 billion yuan, accounting for more than 50% of the total output value of the entire industry.

In terms of product structure, shift from low-strength to high-strength, and from standard parts to non-standard shaped parts; focus on supporting industries such as automobiles, new energy, railways, aviation, electronic appliances, etc.; adjust resource structure from coastal to Transfer from the central and western regions, to the periphery of steel enterprises, and to metal deep processing bases.

However, the standard products in this industry are still low, small and scattered, and there are not many well-known brands. Next year, the fastener industry of Wenzhou City plans to establish a financing guarantee company to solve the financing difficulties of industry enterprises, and to start and establish a database of Wenzhou fasteners to fill the industry statistics gap.

Under the gradual tightening of the macroeconomic environment, the overall development of the fastener industry in Wenzhou City is getting better, the product structure changes with the industry demand, the market share of high-end products continues to increase, and the quality of corporate brands improves.

Customs statistics show that last year foreign market demand was strong, and foreign trade orders of Wenzhou fastener manufacturers increased. In the first three quarters, Wenzhou exported 11,168 tons of steel or copper fasteners, with an export value of 24.52 million US dollars.
