What are hardware precision stamping parts?

Hardware precision stamping parts are the most commonly used parts in the field of metal processing and mechanical manufacturing. Stamping processing is a processing method that uses molds to separate or shape metal strips, and its application range is very wide.  The processing procedures of precision metal stamping parts mainly include punching, bending, deep drawing, forming, finishing and so on.  The processing materials of hardware precision stamping parts are mainly hot-rolled or cold-rolled metal plate and strip materials, such as alloy steel plates, galvanized plates, copper and copper alloy plates, stainless steel plates, aluminum and aluminum alloy plates, etc.  Hardness testing of precision metal stamping parts  1. Hardness testing of stamping die   Stamping die usually requires high hardness and wear resistance, heat treatment is indispensable. The main material of stamping die is die steel (including tool steel and high-speed steel), and sometimes cemented carbide is used.  2. Hardness testing of stamping parts materials   Small, complex-shaped hardware precision stamping parts can be used to test the small surface, which cannot be tested on an ordinary desktop Rockwell hardness tester. The PHP series portable surface Rockwell hardness tester is very suitable for testing the hardness of these precision stamping parts. The main purpose of the hardness test of stamping parts is to determine whether the annealing degree of the purchased metal sheets is suitable for the subsequent stamping parts processing. Different types of stamping parts processing techniques require plates of different hardness levels. The aluminum alloy plate used for stamping parts can be tested with a Webster hardness tester. When the material thickness is greater than 13mm, the Barcol hardness tester can be used. The pure aluminum plate or low hardness aluminum alloy plate should use the Barcol hardness tester.
