Disadvantages ① Leakage easily occurs. The hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic system is relatively high, and the hydraulic oil is easy to leak through the seal or gap, causing the consumption of hydraulic medium and causing environmental pollution.
②Low transmission efficiency In the process of energy transmission, hydraulic transmission often has more energy loss (pressure loss and flow loss, etc.), which makes the transmission efficiency low.
③Inaccurate transmission ratio Due to factors such as the compressibility of the transmission medium, leakage and elastic deformation of the pipeline, the hydraulic system cannot strictly guarantee a fixed ratio transmission.
④ Sensitive to temperature. The viscosity of oil changes with temperature. The change in viscosity causes changes in flow, leakage and resistance, which easily cause unstable movement of the working mechanism.
⑤High manufacturing cost In order to reduce leakage, the manufacturing precision of hydraulic components is required to be high, thereby increasing the manufacturing cost.
Three stubborn diseases
① Heating due to the different flow rates of the force transmission medium (hydraulic oil) in the flow process, resulting in a certain amount of internal friction inside the liquid, and friction between the liquid and the inner wall of the pipeline, all of which cause the hydraulic oil The reason for the temperature rise. An increase in temperature will increase internal and external leakage and reduce its mechanical efficiency. At the same time, due to the higher temperature, the hydraulic oil will expand, resulting in increased compressibility, and the control action cannot be transmitted well.
Solution: Heat generation is an inherent feature of the hydraulic system, which cannot be eradicated and can only be reduced as much as possible. Use good quality hydraulic oil, avoid elbows in the layout of hydraulic pipelines, use high-quality pipelines, pipe joints, hydraulic valves, etc.
②Vibration The vibration of the hydraulic system is also one of its chronic problems. The shock caused by the high-speed flow of hydraulic oil in the pipeline and the shock caused by the opening and closing of the control valve are the reasons for the vibration of the system. Strong vibration can cause errors in system control actions, as well as errors in some of the more sophisticated instruments in the system, leading to system failures. [1] Solution: The hydraulic pipeline should be fixed as far as possible to avoid sharp bends. Avoid frequently changing the direction of the liquid flow, and damping measures should be taken when it is unavoidable. The entire hydraulic system should have good vibration damping measures, and at the same time, avoid the impact of external vibration sources on the system.
③Leakage The leakage of hydraulic system is divided into internal leakage and external leakage. Internal leakage refers to the leakage process that occurs inside the system, such as the leakage on both sides of the hydraulic cylinder piston, the leakage between the control valve spool and the valve body, etc. Although internal leakage will not cause loss of hydraulic oil, due to leakage, the established control action may be affected until it causes system failure. External leakage refers to the leakage that occurs between the system and the external environment. If hydraulic oil leaks directly into the environment, it will not only affect the working environment of the system, but also cause failures due to insufficient system pressure. Hydraulic oil that leaks into the environment also poses a fire hazard.
Solution: Use better quality seals to improve the processing accuracy of the equipment.
