What are the types of precision punches? What is the difference between it and ordinary punches?

A press suitable for precision stamping is called a precision punch. Precision punches have two forms: mechanical transmission and hydraulic transmission. The mechanical transmission precision punch is driven by a motor to drive a pulley, and a set of mechanical transmission parts drive the slider to move. The blanking and back blanking devices on the press are driven by hydraulic pressure. Mechanical transmission precision punches are easy to maintain and have good reliability. However, the structure is complicated, and the slider moving towel is subjected to lateral pressure. With the wear of the moving parts, the position of the top dead center of the slider is unstable and the guiding accuracy is reduced. Therefore, it is only used for medium and small presses. The hydraulic precision punch press is also called fine punch hydraulic press. The blanking force, blank holder force and counter blank holder force of the fine blanking hydraulic press are supplied by three individually adjustable hydraulic systems, and a working cycle of fast closing, low speed blanking and fast return is completed through a set of hydraulic components. The fine blanking hydraulic press has a simple structure, the slider is not subject to lateral force, and the guiding accuracy is stable, but the maintenance is complicated. The difference between the precision punch and the ordinary press is: 1) In addition to the main slider, there is also a blank holder and a counter blank holder. The pressure of the device can be adjusted separately. 2) The machine body has high precision and good rigidity. 3) The cutting speed of fine blanking is 3~15mm/sec, which is 1/3~1/2 lower than that of ordinary presses, but the idle stroke and return speed are higher. 4) There is a high-precision closed height adjustment mechanism to ensure the quality of the workpiece and the life of the mold. 5) Precision punches are usually equipped with auxiliary devices such as leveling, automatic feeding, strip lubrication and waste cutting.
