This situation is quite common, and our factory has encountered it many times! For many foreign trade products previously quoted, a few months later, my friend’s factory actually received an inquiry from the same person, but the customer who inquired this time actually told my friend’s factory that this was a real order. Basically, after quoting a foreign trade company, if an order is taken, the foreign trade company will give priority to cooperation with a metal stamping factory close to itself or a factory with a lower price based on our previous quotation. Second, there are too many foreign trade companies throwing their hands away. After receiving inquiries and drawings from foreign customers, many foreign trade companies directly send the drawings to domestic metal stamping factories for quotations. You need to know that many metal stamping factories do not have professional translators. At the very least, foreign trade companies should translate the English on the drawings. Third, many foreign trade companies lack communication with customers. Sometimes they don't even communicate with customers about the quantity of products they need. They ask the stamping factory to quote, which makes it difficult for the factory to handle it.
