When the wrinkling is severe, it will also make it difficult for the material to pass through the gap between the concave mold and the convex mold during the stretching process, increase the tensile deformation force, and even cause cracking. The occurrence of instability depends not only on the size of the tangential stress at the edge of the material, but also on the thickness of the stretched part. Generally speaking, it is better to use nitrogen gas spring or Uniglue for drawing molds, and it is less prone to wrinkles and cracks. why? Because the force of the nitrogen gas spring or Uniglue is generally more balanced, there will be no problem of uneven force. Nitrogen gas springs are better than Uniglu, because they are powerful and very balanced, but the price is many times more expensive than Uniglu. Many factories can’t afford it. Generally, only slightly larger factories have them. The money uses nitrogen gas springs. Youligu will shrink when it is used for a long time, and its strength will not be as great as before. The factors that affect the product's cracking are: the tensile properties of the material, the diameter and thickness of the material, the drawing coefficient, the fillet radius of the concave and convex mold, the blank holder force, the friction coefficient, etc. The radius of the rounded corners of the concave and convex molds is too small and too sharp, and it is easy to crack the product. The general method of repairing the mold is to find a way to enlarge the rounded corners, make the rounded corners a little smoother, and polish the corners. It is also possible to add oil during production, especially the special oil for stretching, which is very effective. When designing a stamping die, you can try to enlarge the rounded corners if the customer’s product requirements allow it. Don’t make it too sharp. Some designs are not well understood.
