The melting point of zinc alloy is 400 to 430°C. The surface temperature of the zinc alloy die-casting mold will not exceed 400°C. After medium temperature solid carbonitriding, quenching, and low temperature tempering, the use effect is also very good. The materials commonly used in the manufacture of zinc alloy die-casting molds are: alloy structural steel, such as 40Cr, 30CrMnSi, 40CrMo, etc.; mold steel 5CrNi.Mo, 5CrMnMo, 4Cr5MoSiV, 4Cr5M0SiV1, 3Cr2W8V, CrWMn, etc.
Zinc alloy die-casting die life: alloy structural steel can reach 200,000 to 300,000 die times, and die steel can reach 1 million die times. The level of foreign zinc alloy die-casting molds is basically 300 to 500,000 mold times, and some have reached 1 million mold times.
