Advantages and disadvantages of shrapnel and terminal single-station mold

Shrapnel and terminal single-station mold: refers to the mold that can only complete one stamping process in one stroke of stamping. After the process is completed, it is necessary to remove the punched  terminal or shrapnel product from the mold by hand or with a robot, and then put it into the mold of the next station to continue production until the last step of the mold is finished, the whole  product is considered complete.

The advantages of shrapnel and terminal single-station mold are as follows:

1 The structure is simple, the manufacturing is easy, the cycle is short, and the cost is low.
2 can use scrap steel stamping.
3 can be used to make large parts and large thickness parts.

The disadvantages of shrapnel and terminal single-station mold are as follows:

1 Due to the simple structure of the mold and large positioning error, the precision of the parts is low, and there is no high precision of the continuous mode and the composite mode.
2 Simple mold and no guiding device, installation adjustment is inconvenient and time consuming.
3 work is not safe.
4 low life, easy to wear. It is only suitable for small batch production and new product trial production with low precision and simple shape.
