Direct friction with the local surface of the mold, combined with the deformation heat of the blank, causes the blank and metal shavings to melt on the surface of the mold, causing scratches on the surface of the workpiece. 2. The workpiece is cracked. The cold work hardening index of austenitic stainless steel is high, and phase transformation will occur during deformation to induce martensite phase. Martensite is relatively brittle and is prone to cracking. In addition, as the amount of deformation increases during plastic deformation, the induced martensite content will also increase with the increase of the amount of deformation. The greater the residual stress caused, the easier it is to crack during processing. 3. The die wears out too quickly. The gap between the die of stainless steel stamping parts is too small, the centering of the convex and concave die is not good, and the accuracy of the die seat, die guide assembly and turret insert is insufficient. In addition, continuous long time stamping of the same mold causes overheating of the punch, and multiple partial punching, such as nibbling, angle of attack or lateral force during shearing, which will bias the punch to one side, causing serious mold wear. 4. Strip material in the mold. Factors such as the sharpness of the cutting edge of the stainless steel stamping die, the modulus of the mold and whether the gap between the mold is reasonable, etc., will all cause the problem of the mold with material. In addition, if you use non-dedicated stamping oil, the problem of gumming and viscosity increase due to oxidation of the oil will also cause material banding.
